We Are Hiring: Accounts Assistant Manager
Location: Manama, Bahrain
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our accounting team. This position is ideal for candidates with a solid foundation in accounting principles, analytical expertise, and leadership experience in managing and motivating teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the accounting department to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency.
Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and guidance.
Supervise and mentor the accounting staff, promoting professional growth and development.
Coordinate audits, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present financial reports to management for strategic decision-making.
Evaluate the financial performance of the company and individual departments.
Identify financial risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification (preferred).
6-8 years of relevant experience in accounting or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities to collaborate across teams effectively.
